Misys Interview Process

I applied at Misys for the post of Associate Software Engineer through my university. I was interviewed at Misys in 2014 and the entire process took only a day. There was only two round in the hiring process at Misys: written rounds and technical cum HR interview.

Round 1 - Written Test
Since it was a campus placement, the written test was the first thing to go down. The test comprised of different sections concentrating on technical, aptitude and language skills set. The time given was an hour and fifteen minutes. The questions were easy in all the sections. I don't think a reason why anybody would not be able to clear it. Maybe if your English is not good, you might face a problem. But the aptitude and technical test was pretty easy.

Round 2 - Face to Face Interview
Most of the people were able to go through the written test. After that, there was only one round left and that was a combination of a technical interview and a HR interview. Firstly, there was the technical one. But even then, at first, aptitude questions were asked. The questions were a bit more advanced than what was asked in the written test. There was a particular question that left me off the ground for a while.
Q1. There is a round cake which has to be cut only three times so that it can be distributed to 8 people equally. How will you do it?

It left me off the hook but then, I was given a clue by the interviewer and was asked to think more in three dimensions. The questions was a piece of cake after that. I was surprised that they did not ask anything technical.

After these kind of questions, I was asked about my general self and my strength and weaknesses. The interview lasted for about forty five minutes. I faced no problem at all.

How to crack Misys Interview

Cracking Misys interview is not a difficult task at all. The hiring process is very short and very simple. Please keep in mind that I am only talking about freshers and that too those who are on campus placement. There are only two rounds in the hiring process as I have already told above.

The written test is pretty simple. If you are good in English, you will clear it no doubt. This is because the technical and aptitude section is pretty easy. I was left with some time even after completing my test. So don't worry about the time given.

The next round is basically a technical round but for the fact, I was not asked even a single technical question. There were more of aptitude questions and a bit of HR stuff. Overall, the interview was easy. Do keep in mind that no negotiation is possible on campus placement.
