TP Vision Interview Process

I applied at TP Vision for the post of Software Engineer through an employee referral. I was interviewed at TP Vision and the process took just a day. There were a total of four rounds in the hiring process at TP Vision - Written Test, Technical Interview, Managerial Round and HR Round.

Round 1 - Written Test
Majority of the papers were of twenty marks each. There is no pre decided cut off and that will be decided by the panel after the evaluation. Thus you must aim at scoring higher than you can. The test will comprise of subtests based on C, Data Structures, Algorithms, OS and Aptitude Based Questions.

Round 2 - Technical Interview
If you qualify the previous round, you will be called in for the technical interview. In this interview, they will ask you about the interested or strong area of yours. So rest assured as majority of questions will be based on that only. So prepare for your strong area well and you will be able to get through easily. Also, they will ask questions related to c programs and thus prepare that as well.

Round 3 - Managerial Round
After you are cleared from the technical round, you will face the managerial round. Here you will face many questions both technical and human resources based. But it will start with the technical ones. Questions will be more focused on embedded systems (it was in mine at least). Then there will be human behavior based questions. Also, in this round, your language ability is checked. So, be prepared for that. It's all about casting a perfect impression.

Round 4 - HR Round
This is a feel-good round. Most probably your resume will be picked up by the HR and there will be some questions based on that. She asked me about myself and my family. There were random expected questions about my dreams and my inputs if I am selected in the company. After that a form was given to fill in which indicated that I was selected. The package was discussed and I accepted the offer.

How to crack TP Vision Interview

Foremostly, the hiring process at TP Vision is pretty smooth. It all ends up within a day. Well actually it did in mine. However, they might be talking with you through email and that might take a couple of days. Next, I was very much impressed with the staff. They are really good people and you will love to experience your interview in the company.

Talking about cracking the TP vision interview, I have told you about the various aspects. If you read my post from top to bottom, you will get enough pointers. But to sum that up, focus on data structures, embedded systems, C programming and Algorithms. Other than that, work on your language skills. Also, prepare for aptitude questions for the written test. My best wishes with all the candidates who are to appear in the interview at TP Vision.

Thanks Anmol for sharing the details of your interview.

Maths Magic Riddle

I can prove why 1 = 2

Step1. Lets say y = x
Step2. Multiply through by x xy = x2
Step3. Subtract y2 from each side xy - y2 = x2 - y2
Step4. Factor each side y(x-y) = (x+y)(x-y)
Step5. Divide both sides by (x-y) y = x+y
Step6. Divide both sides by y y/y = x/y + y/y
Step7. And so... 1 = x/y + 1
Step8. Since x=y, x/y = 1 1 = 1 + 1
Step9. And so... 1 = 2
