Techlogix Interview Process

I applied at Techlogix for the post of Software Engineer through my college. The process took about two weeks and I was interviewed at Techlogix. There were a total of three interviews in the hiring process at Techlogix - Three face to face interviews.

Round 1 - First Technical Interview
This initial technical interview is much simple when you compare it with the following interviews. But that was pretty much expected. You will be tested over the basic computer science fundamentals and that should not be a problem at all. On a general note, you will be given a single question about writing an algorithm or a pseudocode for a problem. Then, that will be reviewed and you will be asked to offer alternative methods that are better than your already suggested ones. This is just to countercheck your abilities. Like I said, should not be a problem.

Round 2 - Second Technical Interview
After clearing that round, you will be called for another technical interview. This round is much more complex than the beginning one. You will be asked in depth about data structures, algorithms and object oriented programming and databases. There were many cross questions in this round as well. A couple of codding problems were given too.
Q1. Explain the workings of the java virtual machine in detail.
Q2. Explain each step in the process of converting code to executable.

Round 3 - CEO Interview
After I cleared the previous round, I was called for the final interview that was with the CEO of the company. This interview is neither technical nor human resources based but on the other hand have traces of both. He briefed me about the company and kind of projects that they deal with. Then I was explained about the profile and the kind of work that I will have to do in the company. There were some basic HR related questions like how do you dream of your future and all. The round was basic and nothing exceptional was asked.

How to crack Techlogix Interview

The hiring process at Techlogix is fairly simple. There are two technical rounds out of which the first one is just the basic one. If your basics are clear, you can go through it easily. The second technical round is however a bit difficult as you will be asked in depth about various fundamentals and processes. It is better to at least go through with the data structures and algorithms as many questions were asked centered in that area. If you can give a good impression there, then surely your performance issues in the other areas can be levelled up. Just a thought, don't take it too practically and give your best while preparing.

The final round is the CEO interview which is not a problem at all. You will be briefed about the company for most of the time. You can be asked questions on your resume as well. But nothing will be unexpected or difficult.
