ZS Associates Interview Process
I applied for the position of Business Operations Associate from my university. The entire process took two days. If you are applying via other sources, it may take more time. Anyhow, finally I was interviewed at ZS Associates. There are in-total six rounds through which you may pass on your interview at ZS Associates - aptitude test, GD (Group Discussion), Case Study, Interview Round, Behavioral Interview, HR Interview.
Round 1 - Aptitude Test
In this round you can expect all sort of aptitude puzzles or questions. It was a written test and the questions were average. I think this round is just to separate out the serious candidates from the crowd. If you have prepared for interview even a bit, you will be able to solve the questions. The shortlisting is entirely based on your score.
Round 2 - Group Discussion
The group discussion was like you may have experienced in your institute or college. You must speak up and you must speak relevant. Avoid babbling about things you don't know or can't elaborate or they will corner you out. Only 25 candidates were selected in this round.
Round 3 - Case Study
There will be total 5 questions and the time given to you is thirty minutes. This round will decide how much you studied before taking up the interview. You won't have to worry about elimination in this round. However it will decide your fate partially in the next round.
Round 4 - Interview Based on Case Study
Whatever answers you wrote down in the previous test, get ready to be interviewed on the basis of them. If you knew what you wrote, this round might not be that difficult. You just need to elaborate the things related with your answer.
Round 5 - Behavioral Interview
If you clear the previous round, only then you will be able to go this far. The interview will be based on your personality and will test your temperament and how you behave for a given situation. They are very smart and they will know if you are lying.
Round 6 - HR Round
This is the final interview and now you can relax a bit. This is more or less the same as it is in various other companies. Also the negotiations can be made in this round so be ready.
The overall experience was nice and the interview process was difficult but then you can't be expecting it easier than this.
How to crack(Get Into) ZS Associates Interview
There will be innumerable candidates (at least there were during mine). You might not even find space to sit. So, the first thing is to calm down yourself and lose all the nervousness you might have seeing so many candidates. It is important to keep your confidence intact. Be prepared with the aptitude questions. This is the first round but the one that will decide your fate and thus quite important. It is important you go through several puzzles, riddles and reasoning aptitude questions before coming.
The next important round is Group Discussion. Do not sit quiet. But do not speak too much on the topics you don't know much about. If they deduce that you are just babbling without making a point, the chance is you will not see the next round.
The Case Study round will depend on how well you prepared in your institutes. If you have done your homework, you can pass through. In the behavioral interview, do not try to pretend something you are not or they will catch you. People at ZS Associates are smarter than you may think.
Lastly, the negotiations might not be easy seeking the number of applicants but if you want to, you must try in the HR Round. You won't get another chance so take up the opportunity.
