Accel Frontline Ltd. Interview Process
I applied for the position of Senior Software Engineer through a recruiter and the process took about ten days. Then I was interviewed at Accel Frontline Ltd. The process comprised of two technical rounds and one HR.
Round 1 - First Technical Round
The first round was easy. Only the basic questions were asked which anyone with an experience will be able to answer. The interviewer was interested in knowing if your experience is truthful or fake. Thus this round should not be a problem for anybody.
Round 2 - Second Technical Round
The focus of the questions asked in this interview was on the back end design and architecture. They were oriented towards building a large scale web application. I would not say that the questions were hard, but they were not easy as well. It all depends how well you have done in your previous job and how much you have learnt.
Q1. Build a distributed calendar and corresponding meeting scheduling application.
Round 3 - HR Interview
The HR interview was basically familiar and nothing different was asked. They were the basic HR questions and regarding my resume, my job profile and the projects that I have worked on. Most of all, the interviewer was trying to judge my confidence level.
Q1. What has got you a great reputation and what has got you a bad rating in your previous job while working on projects?
Q2. Why are you leaving the current employer even though it is supposedly a bigger company than us?
How to crack(Get Into) Accel Frontline Ltd. Interview
The entire process of interview was an easy one overall. Thus you might not have much problem in cracking Accel Frontline Ltd. Interview. But of course, that also depends on how good you are on the technical things.
I would say that if you have worked whole heartedly in your previous company and gained an authentic experience there while working on projects, you will not find much of a problem with the interview.
Then, you need to be prepared with your resume. Whatever that you have written in it can be framed into a question and you will have to answer it confidently. If you are fumbling over your words on something that you have written yourself, it might not send a good impression.
Try to be confident and stick with your words while negotiating. Negotiation is possible and I did it too. Make sure you do it or you will find an offer that will not be justified with your experience.
