Zoosk Interview Process
I applied at Zoosk for the post of Software Development Engineer via the online portal. The hiring process at Zoosk comprises of four rounds in total - Two telephonic interviews, one onsite interview and one HR interview. The interview process took more than a week.
Round 1 - Telephonic Screening
The first step in the hiring process was the telephonic screening. This first screening was pretty much basic in nature. I was asked about myself and my strong points and weak points. I was also asked about the projects that I did. The screening lasted only about 15-20 minutes maximum. The interviewer then told me that I would receive another call from them for the screening purpose.
Round 2 - Telephonic Interview
I received the second call after a couple of days. This time, it was based more on the technical stuff. I was asked about my strong area and then a few questions were asked from that domain. I was able to answer all the questions that were asked from me. The interviewer was impressed and then a few coding related questions were asked as well. The overall interview went better than I had expected and then I was scheduled for a face to face interview.
Round 3 - On-Site Interview
The on-site interview began with a formal introduction. After that began the technical questions. But every question was based on the basic fundamentals and did not poke into the complexities. This was pretty relaxing as I was thorough with the basics. The concentration was focused majorly on Queue, Linked Lists and Data Structures.

Round 4 - HR Interview
The HR Round was mostly the formality round. There were some expected usual HR questions. I was asked about my dreams and goals. I was asked why I wanted to join their firm over other companies. They were all expected questions and I was able to answer without any problem. After that, the offer was made. I did not negotiate as the offer was suitable for me.
How to crack Zoosk Interview
To crack the Zoosk interview, you don't need to dive into the complex things. All they need is that you must be good with the basics. If you know the basics, you will be able to get through with the interview swiftly.
There are two telephonic screenings in the process. The first screening as I told above as well is just about the introduction and for the second one, you will be asked only about the basics and the domain that is your strongest area. You will be asked about it and it is wise to say truthfully or you will have to bear with the consequences.
After that, the technical interview is also about the basics only. If you know the basics, you will definitely be able to go through with it. The HR interview is all about formalities. So overall, the hiring process is easy. All the best for your interviews.
