ZOHO Interview Process

I applied through my college for the position of Software Developer in ZOHO. The process was fast and took only a couple of days. I was then called by them for the interview. There were a total of five rounds in the hiring process:

Round 1 - Written Technical Test
The written test nice. By nice I mean it was appropriate for the post i.e. not too easy and not too difficult. A total of two hours were given to the candidates to compete the test. The topics on which the questions were prominently asked:
1.Loops
2.Strings
3.Memory Allocation

Round 2 - First Programming Round
Five problems were given to the candidates. It was made clear that the ones who are able to solve three of them or more will be the only ones moving to the next round. The time allotted to complete this round was three hours. I feel that the questions were easy and if you are in touch with programming and your basics are clear, you can do it easily.

Round 3 - Second Programming Round
This was a good round. It was a mini project which was given to the candidates. There was one program and it had 5 - 6 different modules. You have to show output after each module and thus don't go for the completion of all together. Just move forward one by one picking up one module at a time. Three hours are given to complete the test.

Round 4 - Technical Interview
By now, they already know how much you're capable of. So there questions will focus on the core knowledge of the technical aspects. Even a couple of puzzles were asked. There was a discussion about myriad technologies as well. The interview went on for half an hour and the interviewers were pleased by me.

Round 5 - HR Interview
It was a round designed for just the sake of it. Nothing much was asked from me, not even questions regarding the resume. The interviewer was simply interested in knowing why I chose to stay away from my home and join their company. The interview lasted only fifteen minutes.

How to crack (get into) ZOHO Interview

Frankly, the interview at ZOHO was pretty good experience for me. I also received the offer and accepted the same. There was no negotiation though as it was a campus placement but the offer was nice and so I accepted.

I have explained the hiring process in detail above. By reading that, you already know that they are extensive in selecting the candidate. I have not heard from any friend who had two such big programming round. Thus, first you need to prepare yourself quite well. You should be thorough with the basic and core knowledge of all sort of important areas at least. You must brush up with your programming skills and practice various scenarios. The first programming round is easy but to get through the second one is not that easy in comparison.

I can't really point out the topics which will help you crack ZOHO interview as the questions did not have a pattern. They can ask you anything and thus you need to prepare everything.

If you go through the interview process at ZOHO, it will be a great experience altogether. You will learn a lot of things and it will serve as an eye opener as well.

Thanks Anmol for sharing the details of your interview.
