Tejas Networks Interview Process

I applied at Tejas Networks for the post of Software Development Engineer through my university. The process took just one day and I was interviewed at Tejas Networks. There were a total of three rounds in the hiring process at Tejas Networks - One written, one technical and one HR interview.

Round 1 - Written Test
The written test was further divided into categories - aptitude skills, English skills and technical skills. The aptitude questions were a bit time taking but nothing difficult or something that is designed not to be solved. The English skills questions were basic and could be done easily if you know the language. The technical questions were mostly based on C and C++ and other basic fundamentals. Overall, the test was not difficult and could be completed within the given time.

Round 2 - Technical Interview
I had expected the technical interview to be difficult but it was not. Although it was not too easy too but that level of difficulty is expected. The questions were based on C, OS and data structures mainly. But a few questions were asked from here and there. An algorithm based problem was given as well. But all the questions were related to the basic knowledge only.
Q1. Explain binary tree.
Q2. Reversing a string.

Round 3 - HR Interview
The last round of interview was the HR one. Questions were asked based on my resume. The interviewer asked me about the projects I did in college and there were more questions based on them. After that, some expected HR based questions were asked from me.
Q1. Why do you want to work with us?
Q2. What if you get a better offer from some other company?
Q3. A better brand or a better package?

How to crack Techlogix Interview

If you are applying through your university, only then follow it. I personally did not find any problem with the written test at all. Some people might find the aptitude problems to be time taking but that does not mean that they were difficult. You can do it within the given time. As far as the technical portion is considered, you should be able to do it as it is only about basics.

After that comes the technical interview. In that round, you can be asked questions from anywhere. But majorly, prepare well for the data structures, algorithms, OS and C. The questions asked will be easy for the majority of it. But even if you encounter a difficult one, just try and give your best. They won't like a giver but would admire the one who keeps trying.

For the HR interview, be ready with impressive answers for all the expected and formulaic questions. Other than that, also prepare for questions based on your resume. All the best for your interviews.

Maths Magic Riddle

I can prove why 1 = 2

Step1. Lets say y = x
Step2. Multiply through by x xy = x2
Step3. Subtract y2 from each side xy - y2 = x2 - y2
Step4. Factor each side y(x-y) = (x+y)(x-y)
Step5. Divide both sides by (x-y) y = x+y
Step6. Divide both sides by y y/y = x/y + y/y
Step7. And so... 1 = x/y + 1
Step8. Since x=y, x/y = 1 1 = 1 + 1
Step9. And so... 1 = 2

The family includes Mother and Father, two sons, two daughters, a maid and a dog. The bridge broke down and all they have is a boat that can take them towards the other side of the river. No it does not limit to that and there are other complications. The dog can’t be left without the maid or it will bite the family members. The father can’t be left with daughters without the mother and in the same manner, the mother can’t be left alone with the sons without the father. Also an adult is needed to drive the boat and it can’t drive by itself.
