MphasiS Interview Process
I applied through a staffing agency for the position of Senior Software Engineer at MphasiS. The process took about 15 days before I was interviewed at the company. There were three rounds of interviews in total.
Round 1 - Telephonic Interview
First of all, the interviewer asked about myself and my current company. Then they asked in detail about my job profile and the projects that I have done and my current project. There were a lot of other questions regarding my resume. Then some technical questions were asked as well. Not so difficult I would say. If you have gained experience appropriately, then you know the stuff.
Round 2 - Manager Round
This was a manager cum technical interview. Some coding related problems were given to me which I was able to solve. Some java based complex questions were asked as well. I was not able to answer for just one question which was too tough but I don't think they actually expected me to answer that. Although they were impressed by my approach of trying.

Round 3 - HR Round
This was the worst round of all. The HR was quite bad in the sense that the entire time was spent just negotiating with the offer. I felt like I am in a vegetable market negotiating for the price of vegetables. I am glad that I was determined on my words and the final offer was close to my expectation.
How to crack(get into) MphasiS Interview
Cracking MphasiS Interview is not a big deal really. The only thing I would like to add with my words is that it is true if you have truly worked whole heartedly in your previous company and gained enough knowledge through the projects or whatever work you were assigned. If you are good on those terms, you will know most of the things that will be asked in the interview. Even the rest, you will be able to find a conclusion or answer.
Just prepare with your resume as the telephonic round was based on that. Be clear with any sort of doubts. Question yourself on your experience and frame answers for everything. If you clear that round, the face to face interview won't be much of a problem as technical question are something that you have experience in.
For the HR round, I will say that just speak up with your expected CTC and stick with it. They will try their best to negotiate and downgrade the amount. Trust me, they will do their best. But if you want to get the expected amount, you shall stick with your expectations and negotiate at your best.
