Firstsource Solutions Interview Process
I applied for the position of 'Manager - Strategic Initiatives' at Firstsource Solutions through a recruiter. It took more than two weeks for the process and then I was interviewed at Firstsource Solutions. There were two rounds of interviews which I will elaborate a bit below.
Round 1 - Telephonic Interview
If you are applying for this job, you already know what you will be asked in the telephonic interview. The questions were pretty much expected. Though I must say that the interviewer was very talented and had a thorough knowledge about everything that was asked to me. Thus the interview experience was great. I did not feel nervous and you should not as well if you are prepared.
Round 2 - Face to Face Interview
In this face to face interview round, fore mostly, I was asked about my work background. Then some other human resources related questions were asked as well. Questions regarding the fitment of roles and the expectations from myself and from the organization were asked as well. They asked me why I wanted to join Firstsource Solutions and I had my answers with me. They also inquired about my future goals and the efforts I have put forth for achieving them.
How to crack(get into) Firstsource Solutions Interview
If you ask me, the interview process at Firstsource Solutions was fairly simple and easy to go through. The interviewers asked the expected questions majorly. Especially the telephonic round was quite easy. But I would again say that all of the people I met or who interviewed me were amazing and so full of knowledge. It was totally worth. Even if you don't make it, you will be satisfied with the fact that you actually learnt a lot.
Secondly, the HR questions might sound too simple but you don't really know how they can bend your answers to conflict your thinking with your words. So be confident and be careful what you speak for. A good way to make yourself confident is to sit in mock interviews asking your seniors. That way, you can get used to the questions.
Other than that, once they decide to keep you, you can negotiate the offer they provide you. Definitely ask for more than they are offering. They will definitely consider it and even if the increase is infinitesimal, it is definitely better than the previous offer.
