Lister Technologies Interview Process
I applied for the position of Software Engineer in Lister Technologies through my college. The process took only two days and then I was called for the interview in the company. The hiring process comprised of three rounds.
Round 1 - Written Test
The first Round was the written test in which there were several aptitude and reasoning based questions were asked. The only problem in the written test was that the questions were not multiple choice type and the candidates had to write answers in the separate sheet provided. Although the questions were easy but some of the problems were mathematics based and quite lengthy in solving. May be if options were provided, it would have been easier.
Round 2 - HR Interview
The questions in this Round were quite simple and thoroughly expected. They asked me about my family and their professions. Also they wanted to know how much willing I was for working in the company. It became clearer when they asked me to sign an eighteen months agreement if I was to be selected. I was not sure but I reverted with an affirmation. The interviewer seemed pleased with me overall which boosted my confidence which subsequently helped me with the technical Round as well.
Round 3 - Technical Interview
Many technical questions were asked but the major concentration was given on several sorting algorithms and OOPS concepts. Questions based on SOA were asked as well which was not expected. Thankfully the questions were easy and thus it did not matter if I had not expected or prepared for those questions. The overall interview was good and the interviewer was really nice which definitely helped me in staying out of pressure.
How to crack ( Get Into ) Lister Technologies Interview
If you want to crack Lister Technologies Interview process, first you need to sort out your basic technical knowledge. This is because it is the most essential part of the interview. You shall face no problem with the written test. But beware, they won't be multiple choice questions as I have warned earlier as well. So you need to be able to solve questions rather than playing with the options to find which one is correct.
The HR interview is a smooth one and you won't even feel that you are being interviewed. But yes, they will ask you for agreement and you shall only apply if you are ready to sign that. Otherwise you might just have to leave gaining an experience. Coming to the technical Round again, prepare thoroughly on the sorting algorithms. They may ask you unexpected questions but algorithms will be in focus so you must be good at that.
