Larsen & Toubro InfoTech Interview Process

I applied for the position of Software Engineer Trainee through my college and the process took just two days. I was the interviewed at Larsen & Toubro InfoTech. The process included one written test, one group discussion and one personal interview.

Round 1 - Written test
The written test happens after you are selected from the campus drive at the college. This test included aptitude questions, reasoning questions and basic level English. The questions were of average standard and nothing difficult was asked. If you have given even 10 days for these topics, you will be able to clear this test very easily.

Round 2 - Group Discussion
This round is basically to check your communication skills and your behavior and reaction under various circumstances. Speak confidently whatever you have in your mind. The people who judge you are very smart and it is necessary to catch their attention. The questions were basic so there is no need or room for worries.

Round 3 - Personal Interview
This round is a combined round for testing your technical skills as well as on behavioral level. You can expect all sort of basic technical questions based on data structures, OS and algorithms. Also expect at least a couple or more questions related to human resource. Since you are a fresher, they will judge you in every manner.

How to crack(Get Into) Larsen & Toubro InfoTech Interview

The overall process of interview at Larsen & Toubro InfoTech is pretty simple and thus there should not be any difficulty in cracking it. Since I am telling for freshers, consider this only if you are one. The process was simple and not tiring at all.

If you have studies in college appropriately, you will find no difficulty in the personal interview. I did not even prepare separately for the interview and I was able to get through. The questions will be basic level and this should not be a problem for any serious student.

The written test like I said was moderately difficult and if you prepare for a week or more, you can clear it easily. Regarding the group discussion, yes you need to speak up but you also need to stand by what you say and thus you must speak up before thinking a bit. Don't over speak without a reason and stay confident.

Nonetheless, it should not be difficult to crack Larsen & Toubro InfoTech Interview if you have been a serious student in your college.

Tricky Iq Question

In a jar, there are some orange candies and some strawberry candies. You pick up two candies at a time randomly. If the two candies are of same flavor, you throw them away and put a strawberry candy inside. If they are of opposite flavors, you throw them away and put an orange candy inside.

In such manner, you will be reducing the candies in the jar one at a time and will eventually be left with only one candy in the jar.

If you are told about the respective number of orange and strawberry candies at the outset, will it be feasible for you to predict the flavor of the final remaining candy ?
