Vdopia Interview Process
I applied at Vdopia for the post of Software Developer through a staffing agency. The process took one day and I was interviewed at Vdopia. There were two interviews that I faced in the process which I will explain briefly below.
Round 1 - First Interview
The first interview was held in a hotel. There were other candidates as well and all of us were given a brief review at first about the company. Then there was a brief introduction of the officials. After that, face to face interviews took place of every candidate. In my interview, I was majorly given problems related with algorithms and complexity. There were some other basic technical questions as well.
Q1. How does indexing works?
Q2. Different types of indexing.
After the interview, I was told that the HR will inform me of the further process and will give me the feedback of the interview.
Round 2 - On-site Interview
After a few days, I received a call from HR who told me that I was selected for the On-Site Interview and my interview was scheduled for a day after. This interview was a mix of technical interview and HR interview. I was asked about questions related with algorithms again. Then, there were some questions based on ACID properties and indexing. Some questions on database structures were asked too.
After all the technical stuff, my resume was picked up. Then the questions were asked over that. It included the projects that I had done. Some cross questions were there. After that, the questions moved to the general ones. Why do I want to work with their company? Where do I see myself in five years? What is my biggest achievement till date? What are my weaknesses?
After all those questions, the offer was made. Negotiations were not allowed. Their offer was the final offer.
How to crack (get into) Vdopia Interview
If you want to crack the Vdopia Interview, focus on algorithms, indexing and data structures majorly. This is the area where most of the questions will be put up from. Other than that, the interview process was pretty easy. You will get all sort of basic questions. If you have studies, you won't face any problem answering the questions.
What I felt awkward was the interview which was held in a hotel. Don't know the reason though. Also, the will like you if you are not a book worm but know the concepts in practicality as well. Make sure, you appear to be confident even when you are nervous down at the bottom.
All my best wishes with the appearing candidates. Prepare well and you will find your interviews to be pretty easy for sure.
Thanks Anmol for sharing the details of your interview.
