A man walks into a movie theater. Hi sits in the movie hall impatiently as the movie progresses. Suddenly in a shot, he smiles and watch the shot with his eyes glued to the screen curiously. But moments later he seems terrified. He rushes out of the movie hall and run towards a bridge. Upon reaching the bridge, he climbs over and jumps in the river committing suicide.
It is a lateral thinking puzzle and thus it's not about anything logical.
The man who walked in the movie theater was once a father of twin brothers. Despite of the fact that they were twins, their nature was starkly opposite. While David was quite peaceful and generous, Robin was very rude and violent.
On a certain day, David came running to the man and told him that Robin had killed a man. The man rushed to the crime scene with his son and saw that the man was dead with Robin near the body. He started fighting with Robin and accidentally killed him. The police arrested the man and he was sent to prison for ten years. While in his first month at the prison, he received a letter from his son which said that he was not interested in meeting him ever and that he can't forgive his father for what he did to his brother.
After ten years, he was released and came out of the prison only to know that his son was now a small time movie star and his latest movie was running in a nearby theater. While watching the movie, he smiled when he saw his son David on screen. But the next moment, the camera shifted on his arm where he saw a birthmark that belonged to Robin. He realized that on that day the one who came to him was not David but Robin and he actually killed David.
Filled with a grief and shock he decided to take his own life. He would have never forgiven himself for what he did to his son David.
I am a book lover and i saw a book for Pound 97.
I am short of money , so i borrowed Pound 50 from my sister and 50 from my brother = Pound 100.
I bought the book, and had Pound 3 change. I gave brother Pound 1 and my sister Pound 1 and kept the other Pound 1 for myself. Now I owe my mum Pound 49 and my brother Pound 49. 49+49 = 98 + my Pound 1 = 99.
I borrowed my parents (Pound 50 + Pound 50 = Pound 100).
I bought the book for Pound 97 and i had Pound 3 change.
So, the money that i borrowed and bought the book are Pound 100 (borrowing money)
and the change Pound 3 also the borrowing money the book is Pound 97
Total: Pound 97 + Pound 3(the change) = Pound 100
The money that i used to buy the book all i borrowed.
Pound 97 is the borrowing money, change: Pound 3 also the borrowing money. Pound 97 + Pound 3 = Pound 100
This is a classic chess puzzle and considered to be one of the hardest puzzles in history.

Tilt the barrel until the fruit juice barely touches the lip of the barrel. If the bottom of the barrel is visible then it is less than half full.If the barrel bottom is still completely covered by the fruit juice, then it is more than half full.
Four friends need to cross a dangerous bridge at night. Unfortunately, they have only one torch and the bridge is too dangerous to cross without one. The bridge is only strong enough to support two people at a time. Not all people take the same time to cross the bridge. Times for each person: 1 min, 2 mins, 7 mins and 10 mins. What is the shortest time needed for all four of them to cross the bridge?
The initial solution most people will think of is to use the fastest person as an usher to guide everyone across. How long would that take? 10 + 1 + 7 + 1 + 2 = 21 mins. Is that it? No. That would make this question too simple even as a warm up question.
Let’s brainstorm a little further. To reduce the amount of time, we should find a way for 10 and 7 to go together. If they cross together, then we need one of them to come back to get the others. That would not be ideal. How do we get around that? Maybe we can have 1 waiting on the other side to bring the torch back. Ahaa, we are getting closer. The fastest way to get 1 across and be back is to use 2 to usher 1 across. So let’s put all this together.
1 and 2 go cross
2 comes back
7 and 10 go across
1 comes back
1 and 2 go across (done)

An international IQ test is held on knockout terms in November 2013. The final contestants are from Britain and America respectively. Both of them are handed over the final test paper which they have to fill for evaluation. They have to write their names and date on the paper. When the evaluators are handed over the sheets, they find out that both the guys have same name. In no manner can they identify which sheet belongs to whom.
Can you identify the date on which the competition was held?
The competition was held on 11 November 2013. The logic is simple. In America, the dates are mentioned as Month/Day/Year and in Britain, dates are written as Day/Month/Year. But on 11 November 2013, the date and month will be the same. And thus both will write in the same manner i.e. 11/11/2013. If it would have been any other date, the evaluators would have been able to identify it.
